  All leased operator vehicles must meet company requirements. Below are specifications for all trucks owned and/or operated by lease operators in bulk chemical service for Enterprise Transportation Company.  
 
Requirement   Specification
Tractor Age   Maximum 7 years
     
Tractor Weight   19,000 lbs. maximum, fueled, with driver(s) and equipment. Must be demonstrated by a recent certified scale ticket.

Note: Maximum empty weight will be judged based on 100 gallons of fuel "on board". This represents 1/2 fuel on Enterprise specification tractors. Tractors scaling over the 19,000 lb. weight may calculate a "fuel adjustment" back to 100 gallons on board based on total tank(s) capacity, calculated quantity on board, and difference adjustment. Terminal manager must calculate, verify, note and sign this adjustment on scale ticket.

     
Fifth Wheel Height   50 inch minimum, 52 inch maximum
Type: Sliding - Capable of 12 inches to 16 inches set ahead
     
Tractor Height   12 feet, 0 inch maximum, including exhaust stack(s)
     
CA Clearance   85 inches minimum CA (Cab to Axle Centerline)
     
Pump Equipment   Owner must provide his/her own 2" or 3" liquid bulk chemical pump. Enterprise Transportation Company will install pump at Owner's request.
     
PTO/Shafts   Owner must provide PTO and drive shaft(s)
     
Air System   Tractor must be equipped with air system for unloading. If not so equipped, arrangements to have air unloading equipment added must be made prior to sign on. Air may be supplied from tractor system (primary or secondary reservoir only ... NOT the wet tank) - or - can be supplied by a separate PTO driver compressor or blower. All systems must be equipped with a 3/4 inch (minimum) coalescing filter/dryer and pressure regulator or bypass set to 25 psi maximum output.
     
Intransit Heat   Tractor must be equipped for Intransit Heat. If not so equipped, arrangements to have ITH system added must be made prior to sign on. ITH hookup will consist of 3/4 inch engine hot water supply and return lines plumbed to the back of the cab or sleeper and equipped with 1/2 inch full flow ball valves at the outlet(s)
     
QualComm System   QualComm system will be installed by approved company location within 30 days or as available and necessary as determined by the company.
     
Decals/Markings   Unit numbers and markings from prior leases or uses must be removed by the owner. First set of door panel and permit panel decals will be furnished and installed by the company at an approved location in accordance with company specifications. Painted company markings are not allowed.

No graphics, decals, emblems, or slogans are allowed other than what was originally on the tractor when new. The only exception will be a modest display of the owner's name on the tractor.
